Mustafa Evren was born in Samsun in 1966. Completed primary education at Subaşı Primary School, middle school at Mithatpaşa Middle School, and high school education at 19 Mayıs High School in Samsun. After studying for 1 year at Istanbul University Faculty of Letters, Turkish Language and Literature Department in 1983, began studies in 1984 at Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Products Technology, graduating in 1988. In the same year, began his Master's degree in OMU Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Food Science and Technology Division. In 1989, won the research assistant examination at OMU Faculty of Agriculture, Food Science and Technology Department. Completed his Master's degree in 1991 and doctorate in 1997. Appointed as Assistant Professor in the Department of Food Engineering on November 8, 2001, where he currently continues as Assistant Professor / Doctor Faculty Member. Serves as Doctor Faculty Member representative on the OMU Faculty of Engineering Faculty Board. During his academic career, held various administrative roles including Vice Department Chair, Division Head, Vice Dean, Vice Director of Graduate School, and Academic Advisor to OMU Food Club. Has numerous articles published in national and international journals and conferences. Married with one child named Barış Emir Evren.
